Abortion Rights

abortion rights need to be legally protected, because if they're not, then the religious zealots attempting to enforce that they need to be made illegal, or "be up to the state and not the government" will use it as a jumping off points to strip people of their other human rights. this is only the first step in working towards a total, and complete stripping of rights until there is so much division that this nation has a second civil war, and at the rate this is going, it may very well be over the same issue. now that's not to say Christians can't have their lives and their happiness, but they need to have it on their own. if they want something to change that isn't illegal, have all non-Christian medical services in specific wings and sectioned off, like using spoilers when talking about movies, that way Christians can put up their blinders and live their happy little lives, as ignorant as ever, and while (If I remember correctly) ignorance is a sin in their book, I'm 99% sure it's a far lesser sin than attempting to destroy people's free will, because that's what this is at the end of the day, it's a stripping of free will, the free will to have an abortion, and if they succeed in this it will be used as a jumping off point to strip other's human rights, rights that protect your free will, and your will to live how you want, which while this argument may sound hypocritical, look at what Christians are attempting to do, they are attempting to strip someone's rights, which is malicious and affects others' ability to be happy, when all people getting an abortion wish to do is not have a child be forced to grow up in foster care, or grow up neglected, which actively avoids causing harm to someone: the unborn child. think of it this way if it helps: if you existed in a blank plane of existence prior to your birth, and had a choice on whether or not to live or die, would you rather die slowly, living a painful life and not being able to give up, and be forced to live a life like that, or be unknowingly, painlessly, and easily freed from that, and being able to not exist? you would choose the latter, correct? good, then you're pro abortion, because that's what it is, clean, quick, unknowing removal from existence prior to that potential living being, being brought fully into existence. now if you say the former, then you're either a masochist, and need to re-evaluate that part of yourself, or you're anti-abortion and need to sit down, shut the fuck up, re-evaluate yourself, and really give a nice, long, hard think about if you want someone to be forced to live and be tortured, or not exist to begin with. because one option is easy and simple, and one is long, painful, and hard. this is a strong argument for a strong case in point, and it needs it.
